Early after having a delicious and heavy breakfast, depart for a game drive to explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti - known as the Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and

therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. During the off-season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrives in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game-viewing experience all year round. Day 4 - Ngorongoro Crater Full Day

You will wake up early morning, have your breakfast and depart for Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This crater is the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and has fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with

watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. African elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs and lions are found In plenty. After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up and driven to the Tarangire National Park, a huge park roughly the size of a small country. Savannah, baobab trees and seasonal swamps dot the park’s landscape, providing nourishment and shelter for hartebeests, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, various antelopes and over 500 bird species. The park prides itself on its large elephant herds, for which the park is famous for, and has become one of the best places in East Africa to see them. Day 2 - Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park

Today you will set out on your journey through the lush highlands where corn, coffee and wheat are grown, to travel to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti, named by the indigenous Masai people, means “endless plains”, which is easy to see once the grassy savannah stretches out before you with no end in sight. The landscape is dotted by kopjes, bizarre rock formations, on which predators often are found surveying the region in search of their prey. The Serengeti is home to the largest animal migration in the world and depending on the season you will be able to witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras trekking through the Serengeti and Masai Mara Game Reserve in search of food. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your campsite.

Day 5 - Mto wa Mbu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

Your final stop on the tour is the Lake Manyara National Park. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. Apart from the spectacular and diverse bird life of over 400 species, the park is also home to hippos, elephants, baboons, wildebeest and the peculiar tree-climbing lions. Day 3 - Serengeti - Northern Serengeti (Mara River)

After breakfast, we head towards the far northern reaches of the Serengeti National Park. We will do a game drive en route from the central Serengeti area to the Kogatende area (Serengeti Migration Area). The wildebeest migration can normally be found in the Kogatende area from August to October, depending on rainfall patterns. A long stretch

of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park and the Mara River provides the migration with its most difficult obstacle. Witnessing the frantic herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River is amazing.

Day 4 - Full Day Game Drive in Northern Serengeti

Early breakfast, depart for morning game drive along the Mara river. Have a picnic lunch by the river where you will be watching crocodiles. You will be waiting for crossing along the river, but you will also do game drive.

Day 5 -Northern Serengeti (Mara River) to Central Serengeti

Early morning breakfast and then depart for game drives in Kogatende / Mara river area with your expert guide. Many visitors only want to see the river crossings, but the true spectacle of the migration is more than 1,245,000 wildebeests, 200,000 Burch ell’s zebras, 18,000 elands and 500,000 Thomson’s gazelles filling the entire stretch of landscape. After lunch, we will drive back to central Serengeti.

Day 6 - Serengeti National Park to Ngoro Ngoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, you will drive in direction of the Ngoro Ngoro Crater and as soon as you have reached the edge of the crater, the caldera opens up before you. We will descend into the crater. Inside the world’s biggest caldera, you will see a diversity of wildlife such as black rhinos, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, lions and leopards, elephants, mountain reedbucks in the forests on the slopes, buffaloes, spotted hyenas and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After a game drive and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the afternoon and drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

LUXURY SAFARI IN TANZANIA

AND ZANZIBAR

Day 1 - Welcome to Tanzania.

When you arrive, you will meet our driver with a sign bearing your name. He will pick you up and drive you to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Your safari guide will meet you at the hotel for a safari briefing.

Day 2 - Arusha National Park.

In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and take you to the Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip will include a visit to the Ngurdo Crater. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to Arusha.

Day 3 - Tarangire National Park.

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to the Tarangire National Park. This park with its huge baobab trees, the perennial Tarangire River and seasonal swamps is home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Animals gather at the river and you should be able to see elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, dik-diks, waterbucks, warthogs and reedbucks all year round. Furthermore, the park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen every once in a while but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the vehicle, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals.

Day 4 - Tarangire Area – Serengeti

After an early start, you will make your way to Serengeti national park via the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro highlands. Game on route with your picnic lunch. In the evening you will arrive in Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Serengeti

You will spend full day in Serengeti, game drive, lunch box and in the evening you will return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Serengeti - Ngorongoro conservation area.

After breakfast you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti, then in the afternoon we leave to the Ngorongoro conservation area, game en route.

Day 7 - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend to Ngorongoro crater for Game drive. On your game drive you have the possibility of seeing all different kinds of mammals ranging from the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – to Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and mountain reedbucks. You might also see spotted hyenas and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After a picnic lunch in the crater and some more game viewing, you will leave the crater in the afternoon.

Day 8 - Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

After breakfast, you will leave the highlands and continue to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the smallest but most diverse parks in Tanzania. The shallow and alkaline Lake Manyara covers a large area of the park and it is the seasonal home to thousands of flamingos – an awesome (pink) sight. However more than 500 other bird species are also found here as well as some wonderful mammals. Troops of monkeys live in the forests, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests on the grassy plains and elephants and lions in the acacia woodlands. After an intensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you will leave the park to arrive in Arusha by the late afternoon.

Day 9 - Cultural Tour Arusha

After breakfast, you will depart for a day tour in Arusha. You will visit local people, eat local food, local dance, hiking to water falls.

Day 10 - Arusha - Arrival in Zanzibar

This day you will fly from Arusha airport to Zanzibar. Arrival at Zanzibar Airport you will meet our representative at the airport and pick up with private transfer to Stone town.

Day 11 - Stone Town City Tour - Zanzibar Spice Tour - Prison Island Boat Trip

Morning after breakfast, pick up from the hotel for the Spice Tour on this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantations or plots in the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornament, medicines, flowers, fruits and another interesting flora can be seen during the spice tour. After Spice Tour, we'll head to Stone Town one of the

UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Cultural Arts Centre of East Africa. After lunch, you will have a boat trip to Prison Island. Flanged by an amazing beach of reef sanctuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and beach relaxation. After tours, you will be dropped off at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Kizimkazi Dolphin Tour - Jozani Forest Tour

In the early morning you will have a trip to Kizimkazi Dolphin Tour, to Kizimkazi Village, you may swim with hundreds of spinner & bottle - nose dolphin, playing off Kizimkazi beach and you will also have a chance to visit the Oldest Mosque in East Africa. On the way to the hotel, you will have a Jozani Forest Tour for Red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest. Visit Jozani Sea Turtles Sanctuary and other living species of fish. After tours, you will be dropped off at your hotel for overnight.

Day 13 - Beach Leisure

Day leisure or swims and play at the beach in front of the hotel, enjoying the beach or flexible to arrange any other water sports.

Morning visit on our school project in Bwejuu and relax at Paje beaches to see another part of the Island. Back to the hotel around 6 p.m.

This day will depend on your flight time. If you have time, you can still enjoy the beach until your perfect time to be picked up. Our drive will pick you on time and head to airport for your flight back home.
