Booking Process
When making a reservation, it is essential for travelers to provide personal information to ensure a seamless experience. This includes your -first name, last name, phone number, email address, home address, passport number, and any additional details as required for specific services. We assure you that all personal data will be handled with the utmost care in compliance with the OADA and GDPR laws (Regulation 2018/1725).

With our user-friendly website, hosted by Astro System, travelers can easily book their desired services and explore the best that our destinations have to offer.
Services Offered
Akili Travel provides a platform that allows both us and our partners to promote, market, advertise, and sell services and experiences. We strive to present all partner facilities based on guest criteria, ensuring optimal proposals for visitors. Please note that all information regarding partners, policies, and conditions is provided and uploaded upon the season. Nevertheless, we will utilize all resources to verify the reliability of this information
Price Transparency
We strive to present the most competitive prices on our website. However, please note that these prices may fluctuate based on the seasonality of travel. All displayed prices include taxes; however, certain local taxes such as tourism or city tax may be levied upon your arrival.
From time to time, we may offer special rates that are lower than the standard prices listed. These promotions might come with specific restrictions and conditions, such as minimum stay requirements or being non-refundable or non-cancellable. It’s crucial to read these conditions carefully at the time of booking.
Once your reservation is completed, you will receive a confirmation email containing all pertinent information to validate your booking.
Payment and Cancellation
To facilitate a secure and comfortable payment process for our clients, payments are processed through a secure link provided by PayPal. We ensure that all transactions are monitored strictly to prevent misuse or fraud.
After receiving your booking confirmation email, our dedicated Akili Travel team will verify your payment's success and reach out if there are any issues. Should we not receive the necessary payment details promptly, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In this case, both you and our partner will be informed of the cancellation.
Following successful payment, expect to receive your booking confirmation within 24 to 48 hours.
Cancellation
Fees
We understand that plans can change. Therefore, we have established a flexible cancellation policy as follows:
- Free of Charge: Cancellations made up to 45 days before the arrival date.
- 50% Fee: Cancellations made between 44 to 20 days before the arrival date.
- 100% Fee: Cancellations made 20 days before arrival or in case of No-Show.
In all cancellation cases, an administrative fee of 5% on the total amount received will be deducted.
Insurance Recommendations
While we provide valuable guidance on your itinerary and destination, we strongly recommend procuring adequate travel insurance. This insurance should cover potential occurrences such as loss or damage to luggage and equipment, personal accidents, cancellation due to illness or injury, and other related travel issues. Please note that Akili Travel cannot be held responsible for any incidents resulting from the absence of insurance coverage taken out by the client.
Governing Laws and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by applicable provisions from the uniform acts relating to general commercial law, commercial companies, and economic interest groupings, specifically Law N-13-014/AU of December 26, 2013, concerning competition laws in the Union of Comoros.
Both parties acknowledge that any disputes arising from or regarding these general conditions—including issues pertaining to their validity, legality, modification, termination, or legal relationships—will be subject to resolution by the courts in Comoros. There exists the possibility of appeal to the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration of Ohada.
This agreement comprises the complete understanding and contract between you and Akili Travel concerning our website and services. Notably, it excludes statements made fraudulently. Each party acknowledges that it will have no recourse regarding any misrepresentations relied upon when entering this agreement.
Responsible Use: By using our site, you agree to comply with these terms, including legitimate use for your own inquiries or those of authorized third parties, and to provide accurate and complete information.
Appropriate Conduct: You must maintain proper conduct at all times, avoiding inappropriate language, offensive remarks, or personal attacks. Non-compliance may result in account deletion or legal action.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to access and use our site.
Traveler’s Responsibility: It is your responsibility to have valid travel documents (passport, ID) with a minimum validity of six months, and to verify visa requirements and necessary vaccinations before your trip.
